The Empire Innsbrook Direct Vent Fireplace Insert is designed to convert an existing wood-burning fireplace into a propane gas heating appliance while maintaining a traditional fireplace appearance. This Empire Innsbrook Fireplace Insert uses a direct vent system that draws combustion air from outdoors and vents exhaust outside through a sealed combustion chamber, helping separate indoor air from the combustion process.
This model features Millivolt Control, allowing the fireplace to continue providing heat even when electrical power is unavailable. The included variable flame height burner, hand-painted ceramic fiber log set, and ceramic glass create a traditional flame presentation while delivering up to 26,000 BTU of heat output. A blower is included to help circulate warm air throughout the room.
The Empire Innsbrook Propane Gas fireplace insert is available in a medium size designed to fit many existing wood-burning fireplaces. Additional accessories, including surrounds, decorative liners, fronts, and control options, are available separately to customize the installation. This insert is intended for direct vent installation using 3-inch flex venting and is classified as a zone heating appliance.
